Meal Plans

Create daily meal plans that you can recur in any way imaginable. Zoom out to a particular week or to a whole month, giving you an overview of which days and busy and which not.

Drag-and-drop ingredients, recipes and wines to any course on your meal plan. You can also let the intelligent Wine Pairing Wizard figure out a good wine to pair with your courses!

Calculate the nutritional analysis of each individual meal plan item, for a whole course or for the complete meal plan. Once you're done, create a shopping list from the meal plan and you can go shopping!

Import & Export Wizard

Want to import from or export to a wide variety of known file-formats? No problem. The Import & Export Wizard will do just that.

You can import recipes from any of the following formats:

• Standard Food Exchange (.sfx)
• Common Export Format (.cef)
• Mastercook 4 (.mxp)
• Mastercook 5-8 (.mx2)
• Meal-Master (.txt)
• Microkitchen Companion (.txt)

Cookbooks & Cooking Techniques

Once your recipes and meal plans are in place, the final stage is to create and publish cookbooks. Create a chapter hieararchy the way you want it, and then drag-and-drop recipes and meal plans to each chapter. The whole cookbook can be published into Microsoft Word where you can add the finishing touches before printing the cookbook.

Master Chef comes with a comprehensive list of cooking techniques (simple or complex) and you can add media (pictures, audio and video fields) to any step.

Add cooking techniques to your recipes and order them in the way that you will be performing them. Cooking techniques will be printed when the recipe is printed.

Suppliers & Coupon Management

Each supplier can have a list of ingredients, including individual prices, quantities and aisles. Each supplier can have aisles assigned, ordered according to your shopping habits.

The suppliers work hand-in-hand with the Cabinet, Inventory and the Shopping Lists.

Coupon Management lets you keep track of your coupons, assigning suppliers to them or assigning them to shopping lists.

Shopping Lists & Reconciliation

Reconciliation is the name used for the method that moves the ingredients from your shopping list to your cabinet. This process will update the quantity in stock (ie. on hand) of all ingredients reconciled.
